The late winner felt like poetic justice for Nunez, who had endured taunts from Forest fans earlier in the match. Prior to the decisive goal, chants of ‘You’re just a s**t Andy Carroll’ echoed, prompting Jurgen Klopp to jokingly remark that such taunts only fueled Nunez’s determination to score.
