Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has commended goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher for his ‘remarkable and composed performance’ in Liverpool’s 1-0 victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
Kelleher emerged as a standout player, making crucial saves that kept the game goalless until Virgil van Dijk’s decisive header in the 118th minute.
Speaking in his post-match interview after the triumph over Chelsea, Klopp praised Kelleher, stating that the club has the world’s best goalkeeper in Alisson Becker and the finest understudy in Kelleher.
