He claims that the AIG zone 2 is looking into the situation.

The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that on Friday, an X user going by the handle @emmCee_RNB described how three individuals posing as Zone 2 police officers stopped him on Victoria Island and gave him instructions.

The males, according to him, drove a bus without a license plate and were dressed in muftis.

The X user claimed that the men wanted to see his tinted glass permit after he refused to get out of his car. They were unable to produce any identification cards when he insisted that they show them before they would comply.

He claims that after telling them he was a journalist, they got into their car and drove away, according to NAN.

“From the Nigerian Law School down to 1004 Estate, I saw a white bus with no license plate following my car. Before the bus passed me, it was just in front of the traffic light at the Oriental Hotel entrance.

“Three men in muftis stepped out of the bus before I could see what was going on, urging me to get out of my car and get inside the bus so one of them could drive my car along.

“All of this was going on in the middle of the road while cars were passing me and the traffic light was on green.

Later, I informed them that although I was unable to exit my automobile, they ought to permit me to exit the center of the road. They gave their consent, and that’s when I began filming the video—unknown to them.

“As of right now, I’m shocked that they simply claimed to be undercover cops from Zone 2 Police Station in VI and had no identification. Thus, I was unable to determine if they were genuine or not,” he said.
