Filmmaker and music producer JJC Skillz, aka Abdul Rasheed Bello, expresses pride in his estranged wife, Funke Akindele, as she breaks the Nigeria box office record.
Gossipinfo reported that Funke Akindele set a record for the Nigeria film industry as the first ever Nollywood film to enter a billion naira even in a short period of time.
Funke Akindele made a whooping one billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, four hundred and ninety one.
Presently on the Wikipedia Nollywood grossing table, Funke Akindele’s movies, A Tribe Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street and Omo Ghetto The Saga are respectively the highest grossing Nollywood film of all time.
Following this, Funke Akindele made an official appreciation post on Instagram where she thanks God and Nigerians, and every countries where her movie is currently streaming.
“Thank you LORD!!!Thank you NIGERIA!!Thank you GHANA!!”
Her ex, JJC Skillz took to the comment section to applaud her victory. He expressed pride in her die smashing the box office again.
He wrote, “
Recall that it’s over a year ago that JJC Skillz announced his separation from Funke Akindele. The filmmaker disclosed that they were ending their marriage over irreconcilable differences.
Bello also revealed that he tried to settle things with his wife after their 2022 AMVCA facade, but all efforts proved abortive.
However, Funke Akindele refused to bow to pressure when her husband announced their sudden separation on social media.
