Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has intriguingly suggested a potential return to the team. In a social media post, Enyeama hinted at joining Nigeria’s players and staff for preparations ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 41-year-old, who surprisingly retired in 2015 after accumulating over 100 appearances, previously cited feeling mistreated and lacking respect as reasons for leaving the national team. Additionally, he disclosed that he stopped watching the Eagles’ matches.

Now, there are indications that Enyeama might be contemplating a comeback as the Super Eagles gear up for AFCON 2023 training camp in the UAE. Responding to a post regarding the team’s AFCON preparations on the official Instagram account of the Super Eagles, Enyeama commented, saying, “Let’s go, See you in camp. Time for business.”
