Nigeria’s track sensation, Tobi Amusan, is gearing up for her first 60m hurdling competition in two years, scheduled to take place at the ORLEN Copernicus Cup on February 6th, 2024.
Amusan faces tough competition, including Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska and Reetta Hurske, boasting Personal Best (PB) times of 7.78s and 7.79s, respectively. Hungarian National Record holder Luca Kozák adds to the formidable lineup.

The world 100m Hurdles record holder with a remarkable time of 12.12s, Amusan aims to commence her indoor season on a memorable note as she sets her sights on a stellar performance at the Paris Olympic Games.
Having previously clocked a PB of 7.84s in the 60m Hurdles in 2020 at a meet in Karlsruhe, Amusan eyes breaking the African Record of 7.82s held by Glory Alozie, adding another achievement to her illustrious record collection.
