Despite Parker’s noteworthy status as a former WBO World champion and Tyson Fury’s training partner in the heavyweight division, Wilder sees Joshua prevailing in their upcoming clash.

Anthony Joshua’s upcoming bout against Wallin marks his third fight following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2022. While still highly regarded in the heavyweight class, Joshua’s refined fighting style has garnered more attention than his previous knockout victories.

Acknowledging criticisms of being perceived as cautious, Joshua emphasizes that evolving into a more strategic fighter is the cornerstone of his new approach. His tactical prowess will be put to the test against Wallin, who, despite losing to Tyson Fury in 2019, went the distance and left a significant cut that nearly altered the fight’s outcome.

With six victories since his 2019 bout against Fury, Wallin expresses confidence in overcoming the odds against what he perceives as a Joshua “past his peak.”

However, Wilder, speaking in an interview with ES News, disagrees. The American boxer firmly believes that Wallin will not last more than eight rounds against Joshua, predicting a knockout victory for the British boxer. “Joshua. I think Joshua knocks him out. Six-to-eight rounds,” stated Deontay Wilder.
