The girl and her sister were reportedly found wandering the streets after their parents had allegedly sent them away for an unspecified offense, according to a police source that our correspondent spoke with.

As they were strolling down the street, the unidentified suspect extended an invitation to them to seek refuge at his home. It was believed that the victim had been sexually assaulted the previous evening, following which the suspect had sent her and her sister away the following morning.

PUNK Metro learned that after learning about the incident, the victim and the school principal went to the Ibara Police Division to report the crime.

Similar to this, a seven-year-old girl in the Olambe neighborhood of Abule-Osho was suspected of having been defiled by an unidentified man after she had left her home to buy a snack.

According to what our correspondent heard from the police, the girl had gone from her grandmother’s house to get a snack at a nearby stall on Thursday before he was allegedly dragged by an unidentified man to a nearby bush and defiled.

According to information obtained by our correspondent, the minor’s private area began to bleed uncontrollably as a result of the defilement, and she was hastily taken to the hospital for treatment.

The state police public relations officer, Omolola Odutola, acknowledged both incidents and responded to the crimes via a WhatsApp chat on Sunday. She stated that efforts were still underway to capture the suspects.

“Efforts are on top gear to begin arresting those involved in the crime,” stated Odutola. Our men went to the crime scenes. In order to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice, we have also started gathering intelligence.
