A video showing what happened during the ceremony disproves accusations that Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, and the governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, refused to shake hands. The event took place in Ondo State.

Adeleke proceeded to see the monarch where he was seated, and they exchanged cordial greetings before Adeleke returned to his seat, according to a video that former presidential candidate Dele Momodu uploaded on X on Thursday.
