Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has expressed support for Marcus Rashford, expressing confidence that the forward will regain his top form. Ten Hag admitted that nobody at the club is pleased with Rashford’s current performance. Despite these difficulties, Rashford earned a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the November international break. Ten Hag, while acknowledging Rashford’s struggles, remains optimistic that the 26-year-old will overcome his current issues soon.
“I think he’s not happy, we’re not happy,” Ten Hag said when asked about Rashford’s form. “He has high expectations for himself and, of course, in this moment he is not in his best form but I know he will be back.

“I know when the team is playing better, he will play better, score goals, I am confident on that. Also this season, he will improve, he will score goals, he is totally in the team, he is totally aware of everything.
“[Improved form] can happen very quickly, sometimes you only need one game, and I am sure he will get there.”
United are back in action against Luton Town on Saturday before Rashford jets off for a change of scenery with England, who take on Malta and North Macedonia as they wrap up their Euro 2024 qualification campaign.
