Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka, also known as Blaqbonez, a rapper from Chocolate City, has asked his landlord to raise his rent.
The vivacious rapper claimed in a viral video that he is achieving too much and that his rent should be raised. Blaqbonez also boasted that he had been scheduled for gigs all through the month of December.
He said:”This is a quick message for my landlord, I feel like I am winning too much to stay on the same rent.

The house is the same, but the rent has doubled.
Don’t give me anything; just raise the rent by a factor of two.
I don’t think it’s fair to have all these victories while paying the same rent.”

The album is the emcee’s first body of work since “Mr. Boombastic” (2019), which debuted at #1 on Apple Music’s top album chart. It also follows his previous work, “Bad Boy Blaq” (2018) and “Bad Boy Blaq Re-Up” (2019).
