Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, Usman Ododo, would lead the state in a new direction, building on the achievements of his administration.

Bello reaffirmed his belief in Ododo’s commitment to advancing and solidifying the progress made under his leadership. He assured that if elected on November 11, Ododo would continue the legacy of the “new direction” that Kogi citizens would take pride in.

Bello also mentioned the establishment of Kogi State University in Kabba, aligning with the wishes of the district’s founding fathers. He assured that funding had been allocated for various projects at the university.

Governor Bello expressed gratitude to those who contributed to the establishment of KSU, specifically acknowledging Dr. Tunde Ayeni for his significant contributions.

Pastor Johnson Kolawole, the National President of the Bunu Development Association, conveyed gratitude for the commendable progress achieved under Governor Bello’s administration. He also offered condolences on behalf of his people for the passing of Dr. Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.

Kolawole highlighted the positive impact of strategic appointments and various achievements made by the Bello-led administration, emphasizing that Bunu had experienced substantial development under his leadership. He assured Governor Bello of the association’s unwavering dedication to ensuring Ododo’s victory in the November 11 election.
