Jorginho shared his perspective on Arsenal’s title ambitions this season during an interview with Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (via Football Italia).
The Italian midfielder came close to winning the Premier League with Arsenal last season but narrowly missed out to Manchester City. Currently, Arsenal is trailing league leaders and defending champions, Manchester City, by two points after five games this season.

When asked about Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League this season, the 31-year-old emphasized that Mikel Arteta’s team has a chance but acknowledged that it won’t be an easy feat.
“We must continue to follow the path we’ve set out on. There’s ample room for improvement, and I believe we’re heading in the right direction,” Jorginho stated.
“We’re still in the early stages of the season, and there’s much work ahead. It’s never a straightforward journey. But, as I mentioned earlier, we’re on the right track. We need to stay grounded and work tirelessly because nothing comes easy. We’ll see where we end up in the end, but we definitely have a good opportunity.”
