Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu, has lambasted a fan for criticizing her for failing to publicly mourn her colleague Baba Suwe.
Following the hilarious actor’s death on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, several Nollywood celebs took to Instagram to express their grief, uploading images of him along with some of his amusing recollections.
Remi Surutu, on the other hand, has yet to post a photo of the renowned actress on her Facebook, prompting a fan to accuse her for not mourning Baba Suwe.

The follower wrote : Shey baba Suwe was a joke to people like you ni….that journalists are posting him to wish him eternal rest before you people. Shame.
In response, Remi Surutu slammed the follower, stating it was stupid to make a joke about something that should not be joked about.
Remi Surutu stated that she does not do things for Instagram like her colleague and that she does not need to publish Baba Suwe’s photo on her profile to convey her grief.
The actress cautioned her fan not to be insensitive to the recent death of a close friend, nor to manipulate her to gain power.
She wrote: You, silly people, think you can just slide in any celebrity dm to talk trash about something no one should joke around with…You are as dumb as for you to realize that I don’t do things for the gram like others do, I don’t need to show publicly that I’m giving as much as I could for such a sad and heavy lost for us!
Yet you’re asking me why I couldn’t post a dime thing. What a silly question to live my life for you nor do I run my page for u? Don’t u ever think before you talk as old as you are getting! You dare be sensitive and not clout chase with me! shameless people all around.
