The 18-year-old has finalized his transfer to St. James Park through an initial loan agreement. However, he is set to permanently join the club next summer for a total of £28 million ($35.79 million), along with an additional £7 million ($8.95 million) tied to performance-related bonuses. Hall’s contract also incorporates a sell-on clause, entitling Chelsea to a significant sum if Newcastle decides to sell the player down the line. Being a devoted Newcastle fan since childhood, the teenager will proudly don the No. 2 shirt for his new team.

Chelsea are well covered in the left-back position as they have Ben Chilwell, Marc Cucurella, Ian Maatsen, Zak Sturge and Ishe Samuels-Smith in their ranks. Hence, the transfer of Hall is unlikely to hurt them but will definitely help in balancing their books after spending close to £900m ($1.14bn) in just over a year.

“I’m filled with immense pride. My family and I have always been devoted Newcastle fans, and throughout my upbringing, the strong connection to the club was instilled in both me and my brother. Joining such a significant club is truly exciting, and I’m eagerly anticipating the beginning of this journey,” expressed Hall upon completing his signing with Newcastle.
