Enugu state police have arrested Chidi Onyishi of Taylor Avenue, Coal Camp, Enugu, for the ritual killing of his kid.
According to reports, the 36-year-old man was responsible for the abduction and death of his 7-year-old son, Chimdalu Chidi, whom he had also reported missing on October 22, 2021.
According to the police investigation, he confessed to the crime, which led to the arrest of one Pastor Okeke Eneokwor, a 95-year-old blind man who resides on Dental Avenue in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu, whom he named as an accomplice.

After murdering and burying the juvenile on October 20, 2021, Onyishi led police officers and medical personnel to a creek in Abakpa-Nike, Enugu, where the decomposing body of the minor was exhumed from a shallow grave.
The state police command’s spokesperson, ASP Daniel Ndukwe, confirmed the incident, saying that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Abubakar Lawal, has ordered the State CID Enugu to conduct a thorough and conclusive investigation that will lead to the prosecution of all those found guilty of the crime.
