Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and general overseer of Living Faith Church, nicknamed Winners Chapel, has stirred significant social media reactions following his condolence visit to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who just lost his second wife, Nomthi.
Nomthi passed away on Tuesday following a two-year battle with cancer.
Bishop Oyedepo and his wife Faith, together with other church officials, paid a visit to the bereaved pastor, according to images that have surfaced online.

The visit of Oyedepo, however, has prompted outrage on social media, particularly since the clergy shunned the widow of prophet T.B Joshua after her husband’s death.
Some days after the demise of T.B Joshua, there was outrage on social media as many notable Nigerian pastors shunned paying a condolence visit to his wife, which many people assumed the decision was because of his controversial lifestyle and ministry.

Abeg you guys should focus on your life and leave others to leave theirs. That you mention the name of the lord does that make you a believer? I don’t want to argue Bible or quote scripture with you or anyone else. If you know your Bible then you won’t find a problem with people choice of association.
Even TB Joshua’s wife sent some people away for a reason best known to her. It their choice and their life. Live and let’s live. If you talk from now till Jesus come your can’t be more holy than them. Heaven is a personal race focus on yours . Peace
