In the past, men have consistently outnumbered women who joined the police service. But today’s women are so strong and knowledgeable that they can hold their own against men. We have been in awe of numerous female police officers in recent years because of their bravery, grace, and courage.
As a result, today we are honoring these ladies by highlighting some of the stunning female police officers who had the opportunity to become supermodels but instead chose to serve Nigeria.
Ngozi Conchita Braide
Lagos State University graduate Ngozi Conchita Braide. She is an Imo state native. In 1996, Ngozi enlisted in the Nigerian Police Service as a cadet inspector. She joined the United Nations Peacekeeping Operation in 2006 and was given the position of chief of the financial unit there.

Between 1999 to 2003, Ngozi worked for the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). She has held positions with the Special Fraud Unit and the Force Intelligence Bureau (FIB). She was appointed director of public operations for the Lagos State Police Command in 2012. Ngozi, who is currently a deputy superintendent, is constantly proud of her work.

Olabisi Alofe-Kolawole
The first female police officer to serve as the nation’s police spokeswoman was Olabisi Alofe-Kolawole. Olabisi Kolawole, a graduate of the Nigeria Police Academy, earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Ogun State University in 2000. She got a (BL) degree from the Nigeria Law School after graduating, and in 2002 she was admitted to the Nigerian Bar.
She studied at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and graduated with a master’s in police leadership and management (PLM)
Princess Nkeruka Nwode
The first female Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the Anambra State Police Command, South-East Nigeria, is Assistant Superintendent of Police Princess Nwode Nkeriuka.
She is from the Ezza North Local Government of Ebonyi State and has a bachelor of science (B.SC. Hons) in sociology and anthropology from Ebonyi State University.
Peace Ibekwe Abdallah
Peace Ibekwe Abdallah, a native of Onitsha in Anambra state, is the 17th commissioner of police (CP) since the establishment of Ebonyi state and the second woman.
Her 29-year career in the police force has been challenging and eventful. But she steadily ascended the police officer’s ladder through effort and tenacity.
Adeobi Nwosu
Adeobi, who appears to be of Igbo ancestry, is not only stunning and fashionable but also an inspiration to many young Nigerian women who want to join the Nigerian Police.
