In the meantime, despite providing Potter with expensive additions, Chelsea appears to be growing irritated with Potter’s continued failure.

Even though he recently guided the team to a slim 1-0 victory at home over Crystal Palace, it came after they had dropped three straight games overall.
Additionally, it was only their third victory in the previous ten games across all competitions, casting considerable doubt on Potter’s continued employment.
Zinedine Zidane will be lured by Chelsea’s hefty salaries.
After firing Thomas Tuchel, the Blues only hired the former Brighton manager in September of last year. They had also activated his ยฃ20 million release clause, making him the most expensive manager they have ever hired.
In order to create a project for the now and the future under new owners who were also attempting to forge their own identity through this relocation, Chelsea also offered him a five-year contract.
Potter has had and continues to receive a variety of signings, including both established veterans and talented young players. Under Potter’s leadership, the club has spent more than โฌ400 million on new acquisitions, adding more than a dozen players.
However, as evidenced by their meager three victories in their previous 11 games across all competitions, the results haven’t improved. And it should come as no surprise that Chelsea is prepared to move on from their risky hiring of the inexperienced manager; Zinedine Zidane is currently their aim. The Frenchman has a perfect track record from his two stints managing Real Madrid.
Zidane became the first manager to accomplish the record when he guided Los Blancos to an extraordinary three Champions League championships in a row during his first tenure.
Additionally, he won two La Liga championships, two UEFA Super Cups, two Club World Cups, and two Spanish Super Cups to further establish his status as one of the club’s best managers.
Zidane is now willing to return to the club fold, though, after waiting for the coveted position of France National Team coach, which was ultimately retained by Didier Deschamps.
Chelsea is also standing by, and the Blues are even prepared to make Zidane the highest-paid football manager in the world.
After being passed over for the France position, the former Ballon d’Or winner was contacted by Brazil and the USA to take over their leadership positions.
Insiders say he turned down their offers yet again because he wants to own a club.
