Jorge, Lionel Messi’s father, is reportedly in Riyadh to speak with Al-Hilal about the possibilities of his son joining the Saudi club and earning an astounding ยฃ245 million annually.

According to Mundo Deportivo, they would be willing to give him $300 million year (ยฃ245 million) to expedite a transaction.
Messi is thought to be receptive to the idea, despite recent rumours that he is close to signing a contract extension with PSG that would keep him at the club until 2024.
After allegedly saying: “Messi, his next club after he departs from Paris Saint-Germain, will be Saudi Arabia,” Nasser Al-Attiyah, a relative of the Emir of Qatar, has increased rumors that Messi will transfer to the Middle East.
Messi wants to sign now rather than wait until the summer to join Al-Hilal, but the club is now prohibited from making additions until the following transfer window.
Last month, Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr, a Saudi club, where he would earn ยฃ175 million annually.
Messi would make a lot more money than Ronaldo if he accepted Al-offer Hilal’s and would once again have the opportunity to compete against his great rival.
Between 2009 and 2018, Messi and Ronaldo faced off against one another while representing Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, as they established themselves as the world’s top two players.
Although it appeared that their competition was over when Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr, Messi might possibly follow him there.
Conflicts between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal are compared to El Clasico in Saudi Arabia, and having Messi and Ronaldo on opposing sides will further intensify the atmosphere.
When PSG travels to Riyadh on January 19 to play an All-Star XI made up of players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, Messi and Ronaldo may face off against one another.
If Messi decides to abandon his time in Europe and accept Al-rich Hilal’s offer, this may serve as a practice run for future encounters between the legendary duo.
