Rita Nzelu made her acting debut in the 1990 movie “Living in Bondage,” which helped launch her into the spotlight on a national scale. She is a recognised actress who has starred in more than one hundred (100) movies, such as “The Pretty Servant,” “Ukwa,” and others.
Due to her marriage, she finally moved to the United Kingdom, where she spent several years living with Simeon Okoro before leaving the film business. However, her marriage is said to have fallen apart since then.
Sandra Achums
In 1995, Achums made her debut in the business with the film “Deadly Affair,” in which she appeared with seasoned performers like Dolly Unachukwu, Jide Kosoko, and Emeka Ike.

Tonto Dikeh announced in August 2022 that she is formally retiring from acting.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Dikeh claimed that even after the election, she had no plans to return to Nollywood because she had recently been unveiled as the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) deputy governorship candidate for Rivers State.
Zara Tonto Dikeh intended to pursue a music career after having a successful acting career in films like Missing Rib, Games Fools Play, and A Night with the King. She eventually gave up on the endeavour due to her political assignment.
Halima Abubakar
On October 17, 2022, actress Halima Abubakar announced she was quitting acting as a result of her ill health.
Her sister who has been handling her Instagram page following the actress’ undisclosed ailment wrote: “Halima Abubakar quit acting we are so grateful for all the prayers. God bless you all but as from today, she will no longer act. It is her wish. We love you all. Thank you for the support. She is so downcast. She really did love acting. Thank you”.
