Chelsea has indeed undergone significant changes in their squad this summer, with several key players departing the club. The departure of players like Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, N’Golo Kante, and Cesar Azpilicueta marks the beginning of a new era for the West London club.

Out of the eleven players who started for Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City in 2021, only three remain at the club. Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, and Reece James are the sole survivors, while the other eight have moved on to other clubs.
