Saheed Balogun, a Nigerian actor, faced criticism after he posted a video of a woman selling roasted corn to support Babajide Sanwo Olu, the current governor of Lagos State.
Saheed Balogun, the assistant spokesman for the performing arts division of the APC presidential campaign council, posted a video of a corn vendor supporting Sanwo Olu on social media.
Due to Sanwo Olu’s accomplishments and sterling work in Lagos State, the woman, who only went by the name Alhaji Kudirat Akinoya, implores the Lagosian to vote for his second term.

Saheed Balogun shared the video and wrote:
VOTE Gov Babajide SANWO-OLU for Second Term.
Reacting to this some netizens took the comments section to blast Saheed Balogun for using an old woman in a surffering position to campaign for Sanwo Olu.
Gossipinfo news recall that Nigerian comic actor, Olatayo Amokede aka Ijebu accused the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for not commiserating with him over his mother’s death.
Ijebu took to social media to share a video of himself, accusing Gov. Sanwo-Olu.
In a video interpreted by Gossipinfonews, he said:
My is Olatayo Amokede aka Ijebu, I will like to say this and come out straight, my excellence Governor Babajide Sanwo Old, I hear pass this straight to you , am from Ogun state, but I based in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
It a pity that August 9 2022, my lovely mother passed away around 1 am, I receive different letters from prominent people and it a pity your office has not done anything, like send a message or giving update””Ijebu this is my condolence.
Don’t look at my observation because am a celebrity, let look at it the the governor’s office need to check on all Lagosian.
