Mbappe and Messi were seen conversing on the field at Lusail Stadium following the game.

On Wednesday, Mbappe stated that he thanked club teammate Messi following Argentina’s World Cup victory after PSG defeated Strasbourg 2-1 in a French Ligue 1 match.

TyC Sports reported that Mbappe said, “I chatted with Messi after the game, and I congratulated him.”

“You have to act maturely to congratulate [the other team],” I replied, “since it was important for him, it was important for me too.”

Recall that Christophe Galtier, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain, has denied rumors that Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe are at odds after the 2022 World Cup.

Earlier this month, Messi led Argentina to World Cup victory in Qatar, defeating Mbappe’s France on penalties.

With Messi taking home the Golden Ball and Mbappe collecting the Golden Boot after his hat-trick in the championship match put him eight goals ahead of his club partner, PSG’s forwards were without a doubt the two finest players at the competition.
