On Sunday morning, Nigerian music fans were greeted with joyful news: the Popular singer Okoye brothers, Peter and Paul, appear to have put their differences aside and are once again following each other on Instagram.

With this simple gesture, the twin brothers appear to be on the verge of reunion after years of separation as bandmates and business partners.

Although the brothers have not given a clear reason for their ‘disagreement,’ which resulted in the disbandment of their group, much to the dismay of their fans, Paul’s wife, Anita Okoye, took to her Instagram page a few hours ago to share a video of Peter spending quality time with his twin brother’s children in the United States while they went shopping.

Peter and Paul Okoye, Nigerian twins, were born on November 18, 1981, in Anambra State.
Square Records was where they recorded and published their records before they split ways. They got a record deal with Akon’s Konvict Muzik label in December 2011. P-Square struck a record distribution deal with Universal Music Group in May 2012.

On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group disbanded. Reports about a breakup surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group’s lawyer. Prior to this report, the duo disbanded in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.


Meanwhile reacting to their reconciliation lots of their fans have expressed their excitement.
For actress Eka Duke, she is super happy to see them back together.

“See me shouting Hallelujah and dancing,” she wrote on Instagram.


Another fan, Rully King wrote, ‘Thank You Jesus. Even if they won’t come back again as PSquare, let them stick together as twins.”


Golden Ada wrote, ‘What God can’t do does not exist.”


Iamdave added, “Somebody praaaaaaaaaise the Lord. What a good news.”
