I was in pain. When a relationship ends, whether amicably or not, everyone suffers. You’ll be in pain. It didn’t matter if it was peaceful or not. I’m not in a feud with Tiwa Savage, but I’d still like to collaborate with her. It will hurt whether you are fighting or not. You’ve developed a friendship, but now you’ll have to start from scratch.

Wande Coal’s departure was much more painful. I even went on Twitter to discuss it. I was acting strangely. In my career, that has only happened to me twice. Some of my fans are still angry with me because of it. Make it so that una has no vex.

Further, the bouncy entertainer stated that D’banj was the catalyst who saw in him what others did not.

“It’s as though I’m content in any position I’m in.” D’banj saw all that others see in me now first. You can be this, you can be that, he said. He was the one who kindled it in me. If it were up to me, I’d just stay put and do nothing. He acted as a catalyst. I wouldn’t have delivered an album for him if he didn’t see that I was capable of doing so.”
