(VIDEO): Enzo Fernandez intends to celebrate like Odion Ighalo when he scores for Chelsea

Enzo Fernandez, the most expensive player ever signed by Chelsea, has said that when he gets his first goal for the Blues, he will celebrate like super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo to show that he is ready to begin life in the Premier League.

Fernandez stated in the video that he is pleased to be leaving Benfica for the Premier League on Chelsea’s official Twitter page.

The 22-year-old virtuoso was sought after by Chelsea for for the entire transfer window before a deal was finally reached in the final hours before the deadline.

But as soon as Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali agreed to give Benfica the money they needed, a transaction was quickly finalized as Fernandez conducted his medical examinations in Lisbon.

The lavish Blues then received Fernandez in London on Wednesday after he finished his club media duties and was introduced as the team’s new No. 5.

Pointing to the sky

Enzo stated in the video above that only Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo frequently makes the claim that he would see heaven when he scored Chelsea’s first goal.

Gaston Edul of TyC Sports reports that Fernandez will start for Chelsea against Fulham on Friday night if his work permit is signed before 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Edul covers the Argentina national team.
