Barcelona and Manchester United were paired together in the Europa League play-off draw.

After failing to advance past a Champions League group that included Bayern, Inter, and Viktoria Plzen, the Catalans have now been eliminated from the competition for the second consecutive year.

In order to advance to the Europa League round of 16, Xavi’s team will now play the Red Devils over two legs.

Real Sociedad defeated Erik ten Hag’s team to claim second place in their Europa League group. The teams tied for first place in the final points standings, but La Real won the head-to-head matchup.
