Nengi Hampson, a reality TV actress and former Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate, has stated that she made millions for the first time outside the Big Brother Naija house when she secured her first sponsorship agreement.
She revealed this in a recent interview where she discussed her profession as a brand influencer. When she walked out of the Big Brother house, the reality TV star said she had a lot of brand options to pick from, which left her in a state of contemplation. However, she eventually chose her first brand to work with, and the company paid her millions. That was the first time, according to Nengi, she received millions in a single payment.
Nengi also stated that she went from 10k followers all the way to a million followers, and it was just mind-blowing.

Nengi spoke further about where she draws the line when it comes to accepting offers from different brands and stated that from the onset, it has been about being with brands that are in line with her values, and wouldn’t interfere with her comfort zone. Nengi stated that sometimes, some brands’ offers come in to be really tempting, but eventually, it isn’t always about the money.
When asked about her followers on her social media handle and whether she at any point in time, bought followers, she stated that she will never spend a dime buying followers no matter how pressured she is. She further explained that she wouldn’t want to be selling to ghost people because she wants to work with brands and eventually, the brands will see what she brings to the table.
