Rio Ferdinand, a former player for Manchester United, has weighed in on the season’s best player between Thomas Partey of Arsenal and Casemiro of Manchester United.

Casemiro is superior to Partey in Ferdinand’s opinion, and the Ghanaian international cannot be compared to the Brazilian, who also said that it is not a competition.

Upon learning that Partey had outperformed Casemiro this season, the former England international remarked while grinning.

Midway through an edition of his “FIVE” podcast, he responded.

Stephen Howson and Joel Beya were standing next to Ferdinand. The former Manchester United defender laughed when Beya, an Arsenal supporter, said that Partey and his teammate Granit Xhaka have been better than Casemiro so far this season.

Beya responded in the affirmative when Ferdinand asked if he would choose Partey over Casemiro to participate in a game tomorrow.

And then he exclaimed, “Wow! You simply keep excavating the grave.

“Hey, Partey’s a good player; in my opinion, he’s pretty good. He has been excellent for you people. However, we are discussing a different player.

(Casemiro), who has put up several runs. All I’m saying is that it’s not a contest because Casemiro and Partey are being discussed.

“Your Arsenal mob, the ones who know football, will say the same.”
