Ubi Franklin, an executive producer of music, has disclosed that he suffered from depression after he and his ex-wife, Lilian Esoro, divorced.
In an interview with Tea with Taypod, the talent manager disclosed that in 2017, he came close to having $5 million or 3.5 billion naira but was despondent.
According to Ubi Franklin, his marriage ended because he lacked the funds to save it. As a result, when he became wealthy a year after the divorce, he was disappointed that he had neither a home nor a companion with whom to celebrate his financial success.

Despite having millions, he felt unfulfilled and gave in to living a luxury lifestyle in an effort to find happiness.
“In 2017, I has almost $5 million dollars but was depressed. I had the best cars. I felt my marriage crashed because I had no money to fix it. A year after my marriage crashed and I was almost on $5 million for investment but I didn’t have a home or somebody like Iyanya.
There was no fulfilment for me. During that depression, I was making mistakes. I spent mights in hotels but he didn’t give me happiness”.
