Abdulgafar Ahmad, a naval officer and internet comedian known online as Cute Abiola, sparked debate online after posting a picture of himself signing the late Queen Elizabeth’s condolence book.
It was evident that the comedian set up the condolence book in his house and anticipated visitors to share in his grief over the passing of the queen.
Fans responded differently to his post on his verified Instagram profile even though they are aware that he was making fun of the material.

Recall that Cute Abiola had late last year spent 10 days in the custody of the Nigerian Navy for posting a video of himself in military uniform on social media.
The Naval spokesperson, Commodore Saluman Dahun, said Ahmad’s case was an administrative matter which was treated administratively.
His colleague in the comedy industry, Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni, had raised the alarm that Cute Abiola might be missing. He said he went missing after reporting at his office in Navy Town, Lagos on Monday, November 15, 2021.
