Pique ready to play for Barca for free – Report

According to Diario AS, Gerard Pique offered to play for Barcelona for free.

Barcelona turned down the player’s request and demanded that he accept a pay cut in its place. Pique has taken three wage reductions at Barca in the past two years.

Given that he may not play frequently this season after adding Jules Kounde and Andreas Christensen, Pique’s gesture is all the more admirable.
