Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to remain with the reigning Premier League champions after agreeing to a new contract.

With his current deal set to expire in six months, there had been speculation that Guardiola might leave at the end of the season, especially with long-time ally Txiki Begiristain stepping down as sporting director.

During the October international break, Guardiola hinted at his willingness to stay, expressing his continued passion for the role in an Italian television interview. By November, he had reportedly finalized terms that could keep him at the Etihad until 2026. Reports also suggest that Guardiola could leave at that point to take up a potential role as Brazil’s national team manager under Ronaldo Nazario’s leadership.
