Rev. William Kumuyi, the founder of Deeper Life Church, has finally addressed some of the critics who were against his recent adoption of gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan as a “Kingdom son” during a church service that also included former Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria, Ibukun Awosika, and co-founder of Andela, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji.

Kumuyi responded to the criticism in a video posted online just hours ago, claiming that he only invited those who are specialists in their disciplines and can connect with the young people for whom the program is intended.

Speaking further, Kumyi claimed that individuals criticizing his church of lowering level of holiness do not know the grade of those who were welcomed, but are just evaluating them based on their own knowledge and looks.

The Pastor also said though there is freedom of speech in the country, some people speak from an “undeveloped mind”.
