A traditional Nigerian wedding was put on hold because of a disagreement regarding the bride payment the prospective husband provided.
400 enormous tubers of yam were requested by his fiancee’s family, but they refused the food when he delivered it for one reason.
The lady’s family offered a temporary solution the man might utilize if the marriage had to continue in order to salvage the situation.

When John Doe, an influencer, said that Edo state has the cheapest bride price in Nigeria, @Foedosa1 tweeted about the incident in response.
@Foedosa1 claimed that the bridal price for his brother’s fiancée’s family contained 400 huge tubers of yam.
One tuber, nevertheless, broke when they were delivering the yams to the village. To their amazement, the woman’s family refused to accept any of the tubers and insisted that the damaged one be replaced with a fresh one from their neighborhood market.
Their reason being that the wife-to-be’s leg is not broken.
