In the year 2020, it was reported that ChaCha Eke Faani had resorted to social media to express her dissatisfaction with her marriage to Austin.

The 27-year-old Ebonyi-born script interpreter announced the breakup of her marriage in a video posted to social media.

“I know people will think I’m crazy, but I’m not,” she added in the video. This video serves as a public announcement that I am finished. Finally, I’m done, and I’m leaving with my life. My narrative will be told to you.”

The actress later changed her mind, blaming the misleading news on her bipolar disorder.

Chacha Eke was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, according to her.

Chacha Eke dismissed allegations of domestic abuse in her marriage, claiming that her spouse had never touched her.

“I filmed a video five days ago announcing the end of my marriage to Austin Faani. People claimed I had been the victim of domestic abuse after seeing that video. That isn’t true; Austin has never touched me with his hands.”

“I’m here in Asaba at First Delta American Hospital, where I’ve been diagnosed with bipolar disorder,” she explained.
