Ahmed Musa, the captain of the Super Eagles, underwent surgery on his left arm a few weeks after signing with Sivasspor of the Turkish Super Lig.

Musa, 29, stated on Wednesday that the procedure had been successful and that he was eager to go back on the field.

On September 18, the former Leicester City player was hurt while playing for Sivasspor in a 2-1 Turkish Super Lig loss to Ankaragucu at Eryaman Stadium.

The Nigerian player shared a picture of himself on social media with his medical professionals by his side.

“I just want to thank Allah from the bottom of my heart for the successful operation on my left arm. No surgery is too little, as we all know, so I am appreciative of the capable doctors that were assigned to me for a job well done,” he added.

“And thank you all for your encouraging thoughts, prayers, and texts. I anticipate returning to the field shortly, stronger and unquestionably better. Thank you everybody, @sivasspor.

After his contract with Fatih Karagumuruk expired, Musa signed a two-year contract with Sivasspor on September 2.

Recall that The Argentine has declared that he will leave the French club when his contract expires in July 2023. He donned the team’s colors for one season and enjoyed his best season in Ligue 1.
