Ifeanyi Adeleke, a little child of popular Nigerian musician Davido and his fiancee Chioma Rowland, drowned in their swimming pool on Monday, October 31.

In order to attend a family reunion in Ibadan, the couple had left Ifeanyi with his carers, who are baffled as to how he managed to slip into the pool unnoticed and drown.

Davido was taken from the hospital and brought to his father’s home, where he is still at the time of publication, distressed and unconsolable.

In a recent news a terrible turn of events, the family of famed Nigerian musician Davido and his future bride Chioma Rowland lost their three-year-old kid, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned at his home in the Banana Island region of Lagos State, Nigeria, according to a report published on Tuesday by Punch and other respectable media outlets.

Ifeanyi was taken to a hospital in the Lekki district of Lagos State in an effort to revive the three-year-old, but the staff there confirmed that the child had died.

Davido, Chioma, or the Adelekes have not yet issued a formal statement regarding the terrible event. But as the rumours have spread, various well-known figures in the entertainment sector and elsewhere have expressed their sympathies to the victim’s family.
