If Skriniar still hasn’t committed to a new deal, Manchester United might find a steal in January. In order to prevent the defender from departing on a free transfer, Inter Milan might feel pressured to offload him.

On paper, Manchester United doesn’t seem to be in immediate need of a new center defender. Since being welcomed to Old Trafford in January, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have developed a strong chemistry.

Due to Harry Maguire’s poor play, United may be considering selling the England international while also bringing in Skriniar to challenge their present defenders for a low cost.

On Saturday, Potter led the Blues to their first Premier League victory at Crystal Palace after drawing his first game in charge in the Champions League against Red Bull Salzburg.
