However, Mbappe quickly grew impatient when, as of October 11, he still hadn’t received his full salary.

And the next day stories appeared stating Mbappe wanted to quit PSG after feeling “betrayed” due to a number of failed promises.

The financial issue has since been resolved, according to L’Equipe. PSG have been approached for comment.

Only six months after signing a rich new deal with rumored salary of £1.2 million per week, Mbappe’s future in the French capital is now seriously in doubt.

According to additional claims, the Ligue 1 champions allegedly waged a smear campaign against Mbappe on social media following his vehement demands to leave PSG last month.

It is now claimed that the connection between the club and the athlete is “totally destroyed.”

And with Real Madrid and Liverpool interested, that could provide someone the opportunity to make a January deal for Mbappe.

With 190 goals in 237 games, Mbappe is currently in his sixth season at the Parc des Princes.

In that period, he has won four titles.

Mbappe is now aiming to effectively reclaim the World Cup for France in Qatar.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one person who believes Mbappe ought to have left PSG last summer.

The star of AC Milan said: “Mbappe didn’t make the best decision for himself; he did it for Paris.

“Because he put himself in a situation where he is more important than the club. He received the keys for that from the club.

“However, you will never be larger than a club. However, a child can readily make money if he grows strong.”
