‘Omoghetto The Saga’ has become the most-watched Naija title on the Netflix streaming platform, in addition to becoming Africa’s highest-grossing film of 2020/2021.
JJC Skillz, Funke Akindele’s husband, rushed to Instagram to share the good news, which has made fans and cast members of the film ecstatic on social media.

Alex Ekubo reacted by saying that ‘Omoghetto The Saga’ is one of the films he is happy to be a part of, and that it has continued to set milestones both at home and abroad, including becoming the highest-grossing Nollywood film of all time and grossing billions of Naira.
Zubby Micheal, who also reacted, wrote on his Instagram page that they have taken over Netflix and that their next stop is Hollywood.
Although Toyin Abraham has stated numerous times that she is not competing with anyone, she is attempting to better her previous record.
However, others have argued that her film ‘Ghost and The Tout’ is a rip-off of Funke Akindele’s style of filmmaking.
