Jack Wilshere, a former midfielder for Arsenal, has spoken on the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo moving to the Emirates Stadium during the summer window. It follows an angry interview in which the Manchester United striker criticized his employers and the club’s lack of progress.

The 37-year-old asserts that the Red Devils have not yet advanced past Sir Alex Ferguson’s era and that more work needs to be done before the team can overtake Arsenal at the top. To Piers Morgan, he said: “I have no idea what’s happening. Since Sir Alex Ferguson left, the club has not advanced. The advancement was nil “As he proceeded to evaluate the team, Ronaldo. “In order to help the club, I believe the supporters should be informed of the facts. I travel to Manchester United for this reason.
“But there are some things inside of you that prevent [us] from competing at the same high level as City, Liverpool, and even now, Arsenal.

With only a few months left on his current deal, the interview may have jeopardized his future at Old Trafford. After struggling to find a reliable goal-scorer up front, Arsenal has been urged to make their approach for Ronaldo amid all of this discussion.
But according to former midfielder Wilshere, who spoke to TalkSPORT about the move:
“I still believe he would provide something for the younger guys to observe, see how he lives, and see how he goes about doing things.
When questioned about whether Arsenal would accept him, he adds: “Mikel Arteta wouldn’t have him, in my opinion. No, [I also wouldn’t want him] Obviously, what he did was wrong, but he doesn’t have a history of doing wrong. He spent many years at [Real] Madrid.
Although Ronaldo’s future is still uncertain, it doesn’t seem likely that it will involve Arsenal at this point in their project.
