Former England manager Gareth Southgate has expressed that he is in no hurry to return to work and is open to exploring opportunities both within and outside football.

The 54-year-old stepped down after England’s Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain and was linked with the Manchester United job over the summer. However, Southgate emphasized his desire to take a break and recharge.

Speaking to Sky News, he said: “I’ve got lots of opportunities, and I’m very open-minded about what’s next. That could be in football or outside of football. I’m going to take some time to refresh, recharge, and then see where things go from there.”
