As she describes her cultural shock in the UK in a video that has since appeared online, Nigerian pastor Reverend Esther Ajayi, who lives in London, has drawn varied comments from social media users.
The pastor who leads the Love of Christ Generation Church C&S in the UK discusses what she finds repulsive about today’s generation while referencing a recent encounter she had with a family that included a husband and wife and their children.
Reverend Esther Ajayi explained that she visited a family and that when she arrived, the husband, wife, and kids were eating and watching a Manchester United premier league game.

She admitted that they offered her a food but she refused as she doesn’t feel like eating at that particular moment.
Speaking on what shocked her, the preacher said that the husband after eating his food carries his plate alongside the tray to the kitchen and started watching the plates, then come back to watch the match while the wife and children sat down.
While preaching, Reverend Esther Ajayi bemoans the attitude of the wife and children as she noted that she hates her husband entering the kitchen as she found it disrespectful.
She further added that people might address her as old school but maintained that it’s insulting for her husband to be in the kitchen excepts she calls him to come and taste the food.
