Fair and lovely Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite, has spoken out about her failed marriage to Chris Attoh, a colleague, and the lessons she learned from it.
Tinsel, an ex-couple who met on MNET’s TV series, began dating after working together on the film. They married in February 2015, had a child, and divorced two years later.
Damilola Adegbite disclosed the reasons that led to the collapse of her marriage in a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

“It didn’t work,” says the narrator. That encounter taught me a valuable lesson: love alone is insufficient. Love is one of the qualities that you need when you meet someone and want to spend the rest of your life with them, but it isn’t the only one.”
Damilola Adegbite went on to say how her marriage perspective differs from the conventional one and how it doesn’t fit into her lifestyle.
A failing marriage, she claims, is not the tragedy that many portray it to be. God does not preside over every marriage. She reflected on how she had struggled and prayed hard all the way until the end of the marriage, knowing that she had done her best.
