A Nigerian Igbo man, Chigozirim Emeakayi has announced his conversion to Islam.
Chigozirim Emeakayi claims that he converted to Islam since it is the world’s most nonviolent faith and that he now goes by the Muslim name “Aliyu.”
He wrote:

My name is now Chigozirim Aliyu Emeakayi, as I fully accept and embrace the most peaceful religion on Earth.”
He also shared a series of pictures he had taken at the mosques as he reveals excitedly that he had attended his first Juma’at service with the caption:

Today, I had my first Juma’at Prayers at the Annur Mosque. Allah ya sauwake min.

The young Muslim convert has received loads of gifts such as a new Muslim prayer mat, a Quran, following his conversion to Islam.
After being criticized by some people, he also took to social media to blast them, saying he doesn’t know why his choice of religion should be someone’s headache.
He wrote:
I don’t know why my Choice of Religion and Worship should be anyone’s headache.
Move on guys! Y’all have something more important to do with your time.
I’m not worth the attention and trends. Just cut me some slacks, let it be!
