During a recent interview with Chude Jidenowo, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori shared further details about her resignation from her job as a TV presenter. She recounted that in response to her request for a salary increase, her boss suggested that she shouldn’t worry about financial concerns because being on television would attract wealthy men who would provide her with money.

This revelation came to light as she engaged in a candid conversation with Chude Jidenowo, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding her decision to leave her position as a TV presenter.

KieKie said: “I once had a boss that I complained to that “this salary you used to pay me is not sufficient. Can you pay me more?” And this man told me that, ‘Why are you stressing yourself? You are fine na, you are on TV, big, big men will see you, and they will give you money. That was how I sacked myself from that day.”

She added that she quit because her boss, by orientation, did not value her hard work.
