Some Nigerians have reversed their positions after defending popular skit artist Ahmed Gafar, also known as Cute Abiola, for the brutality meted out to him.
Cute Abiola portrays Nigerian police officers poorly in a video that leaked online and is thought to be one of his skits. The Nigerian Police Force is well-known for drinking alcohol while on duty, as well as illegal imprisonment and firearms misuse.
Many social media users reacted negatively to the video, accusing Cute Abiola of filming so many videos while being aware of Nigerian Navy rules.
