Funke Akindele, a prominent Nollywood actress, expressed her disapproval of Lateef Adedimeji’s comedic performance.

The actress, who is also a brand ambassador for Peju Alagbo enterprise, shared a video in which Lateef was promoting the brand. In the video, Lateef, dressed as a woman, was on his way to a party when his wife, played by Mo Bimpe, insisted that he record a dance video.

Mo Bimpe was singing Davido’s popular hit song, “Unavailable,” which did not sit well with Lateef. Interrupting her, the movie star stated that he would always be available for any event since that is what he lives for.

Taking to his comment section, Funke Akindele questioned his mental state.

The mother of twins stated that the actor’s head wasn’t correct.

“Ori yin o pe Ma”, Funke Akindele wrote in Yoruba.

Some years back, Lateef Adedimeji penned an appreciation post to Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, and some of his other colleagues.

Taking to his official Instagram page to express his gratitude, Lateef shared throwback photos with his colleagues in the movie industry namely, Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, Muyiwa Ademola, Ricardo Agbor, Yewande Adekoya, Doris Simeon, Sotayo Sobola and Damola Olatunji.

According to Lateef, these people made him become something in life and he loves them so much.

In his words;

“Let me take them in no particular order from 2010 to 2013. Throwback yen gan gan ni. A big thank you to everyone that has in one way or the other helped me to become something in life. I love you.”
